Going to football games is pretty sweet. But Gamecock fans love the chance to watch Clemson get beaten, no matter what the sport is. They’ll get that chance tonight, as the men’s soccer team hosts the Tigers at 7:00 tonight at Stone Stadium.
Carolina is having an interesting start to the season, holding a 2-3-1 record. But one of the wins was in a road contest against #2 South Florida, and the last game was a 3-2 loss in double overtime at #5 UNC-Charlotte. Clemson is 1-4-2, with their lone win coming in the season opener against USC-Upstate.
Clemson bested the Gamecocks last season, but South Carolina won the previous four meetings. Clemson leads the all-time series 23-15-1. Today is National Cheeseburger Day, and the first 100 cheeseburgers sold will cost just $1.
