College World Series Coverage

It’s that time of year again. Time for USC to finish up its baseball season in Omaha. Two national championships down, and we are set to three-peat. At the beginning of the year, people said that we were a young team and that this would be a “rebuilding year.” You might remember that we got off to an abysmal start leaving us way behind in the SEC as the doubters folded their arms and chuckled.

But we have proven over and over again that our team doesn’t give up. We’re committed to “Win Anyway”, regardless of the other team’s apparent quality. And that has brought us to Omaha for the third year, along the way setting all-time records for most consecutive NCAA Tournament wins with 21 and most consecutive College World Series wins with 11. And on top of that, we haven’t lost a postseason game in Columbia in a decade. Anyone folding their arms and chuckling now?
