I’m all about finding good flash games. What better way is there to stay awake in class? Sure, most of these games hit their hey-day back in 2006, but who cares? We’ve included a few puzzle-based, two driving, and a running game. If you haven’t played them, I promise it’ll be worth it.
With that, I give you Fancy Pants…
#1 – Fancy Pants 2

Fancy Pants will ruin your life. The game is insanely addictive. It has fairly neat physics, and your little dude runs around the screen in gameplay that is clearly inspired by Super Mario. Also, the game is extremely detailed, with multiple levels that will actually last you a while. Unlike most games that get old after 20 minutes, Fancy Pants will keep you playing.
The only downside is they make you listen to background music that is a fail.
#2 – Funky Truck 3

Funky Truck has been around forever. The first time I played this game was about the time the iPod came out. But some games are truly timeless. If you enjoy arrow-based games, this is for you my friend.
Sadly, Funky Truck 4WD (which came out afterward) was a total fail. The physics were all messed up. #FlashGameProblems I suppose.
#3 – Canvas Rider

Canvas Rider is somewhat in the same vein as Funky Truck, but it’s an entire website full of amazingly artistic tracks. They opened up their “Track creator” for anyone who wants to create a level so there are literally hundreds of ones to pick. Try 3D Skate Park to get you started.
The gameplay is a little tricky, and you’ll die the first 40 times you try it. So don’t expect to be a pro too quickly.
#4 – Cut the Rope (Online)

We featured this Cut the Rope Online the first day we launched. Strangely enough, Microsoft commissioned the project to show off what Internet Explorer can do. Don’t worry, it works on all browsers.
I’m sure you’ve all heard of Cut the Rope. And it isn’t as much fun to use a mouse to cut ropes, but nonetheless worth giving it a shot on your trackpad.
#5 – Red Remover

Ahhhh Red Remover. Puzzle based block removal at it’s best. The levels are simple, but super addictive. Sort of like Angry Birds. Plus, they hold your hand at the beginning so you’ll know what the heck is going on in game.
Bonus – Robot Unicorn Attack

Easily the best terrible game of the 2000′s. Omg if you haven’t played this what the heck are you still doing reading this post? It’s cheesy, corny, and been played 42 million times. Press Z to make your wishes come true.
