What is an item in your wardrobe you could not live without?
“My bird earrings. They’re bird silhouettes with little, blue stones in them. I have an obsession.”
What is your favorite piece that you are wearing today?
“The skirt. It’s new from Urban Outfitters. The secret there is the sale section! If you go often enough, you realize when they start putting everything on sale…I go there way too often.”
Warm or cool colors?
“Cool. My favorite color’s blue, so I wear a lot of cool colors.”
What is your favorite fall accessory?
“I can’t wait to wear scarves! It was breezy on the Horseshoe the other day, and I got really excited!”
What style of sunglasses is your favorite?
“The one’s I’m wearing today, I don’t even know what style they are! They’re just kind of old fashioned, I guess. They’re like my dad’s glasses but sunglasses. Haha. I got them at a wacky pawn shop called George’s in downtown Charleston for $8! That’s where a friend and I go to buy all our sunglasses and musical instruments.”
What is your least favorite trend?
“Wait…can you name a few trends? Haha. I guess athletic shorts if anything, just because I have zero athletic ability, so I stay away from those. But, I mean, people can wear whatever they want.”
What style advice would you give someone?
“Go with what makes you happy! Especially if it’s something cute that makes you happy!”
